Some media have claimed that the People's Defense Units (YPG) has declared Kobane as a military zone and according to this decision has to evacuate the civilians out of the area.

 

We as the People's Defense Units (YPG) emphasize that this claim is merely a baseless and false propaganda. Despite all the barbaric attacks by the ISIS mercenaries, there's still thousands of civilians staying in Kobane.

 

As committed, we the People's Defense Units (YPG) and Women's Defense Units (YPJ) will defend the civilians with all our strength at any costs.
