KOBANE CANTON_ Resistance continues on its 22nd day despite the ongoing attacks by the ISIS mercenaries and heavy shelling on the city from three points, our 

 

units of the People's Defense Units (YPG) and Women's Defense Units (YPJ) have managed to inflict serious losses on the ISIS terrorists.

 

Continuous battles at eastern and southern fronts, Botan and Megtel neighborhoods, near the hill Mishtenur and the KaniyaKurdan area in southeast of the city are ongoing. This morning our units engaged in an offensive against the mercenaries in KaniyaKurdan area and were able to defeat them, while fierce clashes and direct confrontations are continuing, ISIS mercenaries are targeting the center of the city with tanks and heavy weapons.

 

Our troops carried out an operation against the mercenaries sited behind the hill Mishtenur last night in southeastern Kobane, two vehicles carrying the mercenaries were destroyed in this attack, also this afternoon our forces managed to destroy a tank stationed near the hill Mishtenur.

 

It has been confirmed by our troops that 67 ISIS fighters were killed during the fighting that took place in the last 24 hours.

 

Of our comrades who defended Kobane of their free will and became an example of sacrifice, 12 of them martyred in action.

In another front, our forces  carried out an operaton against  ISIS mercenaries last night in east and southeast of Jaz'a town targeting their posts located in Ekersh, Sefane, Kenhu,bichuk, and Miteriha.YPG fighter siezed thier positions and cleared the area from ISIS terorists.In addtion, another terorrist group that aimed to rescue the other mercenaries were targeted, at least 15 terrorists were killed .

 

many weapons and other militatry equipments were seized by our forces.

After a heroic resistance, three of our comrades were martyred .
