Kobanê, Feb 5, 2015 - At the initial stage of victory, the resistance against terrorist attacks of Daesh (ISIS) in Kobanê continued Feb 4 on day 143.

 

Following the Campaign Kobanê Liberation, our units insistently continue to conduct their operations against terrorist groups in rural district of the city.

 

Our forces last night launched an operation against the terrorist-occupied village of Taştok in east Kobanê, and ultimately managed to liberate that village. Clashes between our units and terrorist forces are continuing near this village where a military vehicle has been destroyed along with operatives inside. Terrorists’ casualties on this front were not specifically verified by initial reports.

 

As part of Campaign Kobanê Liberation, our units similarly are continuing to advance in west Kobanê. In this context, our forces last night targeted the Susan village and two nearby strategic hills. After heavy clashes all three objectives of the operation were successfully liberated from terrorist groups. During the fight on this front 15 members of terrorist forces were confirmed killed.

 

Along with 5 terrorists dead, our units were able to seize 1 DShK 14.5mm, 8 AK-47 rifles, 22 AK magazines, 2 boxes of AK ammunition, 1 RPG-7 RL, 5 rockets of RPG-7, 1 PK machine gun, 2 boxes of PK bullets, and 3 radios.
