Kobanî– The vicious attacks by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists attempting to occupy Kobanî continued on the 130th day. However, the operations initiated by our forces of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) and the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ) are constantly continuing to liberate Kobanî.

 

On the Eastern front of Kobanî, our forces last night carried out an assault operation against several terrorist-occupied areas. In this operation which was conducted in a region between the Dibistana Resh and the Dibistana Şerîa, heavy casualties were suffered by terrorist forces. As a result of this operation, the area between the two Dibistans was fully cleansed and liberated from terrorist groups.

 

In this operation 24 members of terrorist forces were confirmed killed. Along with 8 bodies of terrorists, our units were able to seize 22 AK-47 rifles, 10000 bullets, 3 PK machine guns, 700 bullets for PK MG, 2 RPG-7 rocket launchers, 600 bullets of M16, 15 hand grenades, 12 hand-made mines, and a number of other military equipment from the terrorists.

 

At the same time, our forces operated against terrorist groups between the villages of Minaz and Alîpur on the Western front of Kobanî. In this operation 2 terrorist forces were confirmed killed.

 

Hesekê – A minor fight was experienced between our units and terrorist groups of Daesh last night near the village of Kherîta in Hesekê countryside. A group of terrorists who were attempting for an attack was targeted by our forces, and finally were repulsed from the area. During the clashes on this region 1 member of terrorists was confirmed killed.
