Hesekê - Syrian Regime forces activated an attack yesterday evening on several Kurdish neighborhoods and our units’ positions in the city of Hesekê where they targeted civilian areas, Al-Talayi neighborhood, Fire Station, and Asayish (Security Forces) check-points.

 

Our forces swiftly replied and repulsed the attacks. Regime forces simultaneously shelled the predominantly Kurdish neighborhoods of Salihiyê, Miftiyê, and Til Hacer with mortars. As reported, there is a number of casualties among civilians as a result of the shelling.

 

Clashes between our units and regime forces are now continuing near Al-Talayi Camp, Fire Station, Hesekê Church, and several other neighborhoods of the city. The regime again attempts to commit brutal massacres against the Kurdish people, but that will stay a dream and will never come true.
