Kobanî– The resistance against terrorist groups of Daesh (ISIS) in Kobanî is continuing on its 118th day. Our units control the initiative in the fight against terrorists, and are continuing to advance inside the city.


Our forces of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) along with the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ) last night conducted an operation against terrorist groups in the south-east of Kobanî. In this operation, several terrorist-occupied positions in the east and south of the Water Supply were targeted, the terrorists suffered heavy casualties, and our units managed to liberate 2 roads on this front.


According to what has been confirmed for this operation, 27 members of terrorist forces were confirmed killed. Along with 7 bodies of terrorist forces, our units were able to seize 21 AK-47 rifles, 67 AK-47 magazines, 16840 bullets, 2 PK machine guns, 7000 PK bullets, 1 RPG-7 rocket launcher, 4 RPG-7 rockets, 2600 AKC bullets, 628 bullets for DShK 12.5, 148 bullets for DShK 23, 74 bullets of 14.5 type, 20 bullets for G3, 61 pieces of 60mm mortar shells, 5 pieces of 82mm mortar shells, 3 shells of 57 mortar, 18 hand grenades, and a number of other military equipment from the terrorist groups in last night’s operation.


Hesekê – Today at 9:00 AM, our forces of YPG/YPJ carried out an operation near the village of Tiwêna in Hesekê countryside, targeted an active group of Daesh terrorists, and killed one of their forces.
