KOBANI CANTON – Yesterday in Kobanê Canton, a Joint Action Force for battle tactics named “Bûrkan Elfurat” was established by People’s Defence Units (YPG) and Free Syrian Army (FSA). The Force was established to better respond to the attacks by ISIS and to liberate Raqqacity and villages east of Aleppo.

Factions that take part in the Joint Force are as follows:

 

Al Tawheed Brigade Northern Sector

Fajr Al Hooriyah Brigade

AlRaqqah Revolutionaries Brigade

Shems al Shamal Battalions

People’s and Women’s Defence Units (YPG and YPJ)

Jarabulus Brigade

Al Qassas Brigade

El Jihad Brigade

All forces and factions that joined the Joint Force expressed the importance of common action against ISIS and they expressed their commitment to liberation of cities that are currently held by ISIS.

Bûrqan Elfurat asked from the National Council the following:

Anyone who joined ISIS shall abandon them.

International community shall stand against ISIS and finish this organisation.

Sides fighting against ISIS shall support the Bûrkan Elfurat Action Force in material and morale means.

Support Bûrqan Elfurat for liberation of areas remaining under ISIS control (Qeraqozak, Sarrin, Jarabulus, Manbej, villages of Manbej, villages of Aleppo and al Raqqa)
