Kobanî- The resistance against Daesh (ISIS) terrorist attacks in the city of Kobnai continues on its 116th day.

Our forces last night conducted an assault against terrorist groups near the Mekteba Resh (the Black School) on the Eastern front of Kobani. The operation resulted in the killing of 2 terrorists.

In the morning hours of today, January 9th, numerous minor clashes between our units and terrorist forces took place near the Mekteba Resh and Kobani’s Water Supply. However, the number of dead or wounded of terrorist forces were not verified.

Serêkaniyê - Along with the Women's Defense Units (YPJ) our forces of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) carried out an operation against terrorist groups of Daesh near the village of Rehaniye, 25 kilometers south Serêkaniyê. As a result of this operation, a vehicle of the terrorists was destroyed, and 3 members of terrorists were confirmed killed.

Hesekê - In a joint operation conducted by our units of the YPG/YPJ, terrorist groups of Daesh were targeted last night near the village of Tiwêna in Hesekê countryside. In this operation 2 terrorist forces were confirmed killed.
